You're invited to attend the Dupont Circle Citizens Association's November meeting, which will be held in our Sanctuary on Monday, November 17 at 7 pm. This month's keynote speaker is Mike Curtin, CEO of DC Central Kitchen, addressing the urgent issue of growing hunger and food insecurity in our city.

The statistics are sobering: 141,000 DC residents rely on SNAP benefits, 53% of DC female-headed households with children receive food assistance, and 1 in 7 DC children face food insecurity every month. DC Central Kitchen is responding with compassion and action, providing over 1.5 million free meals each year to our neighbors in need.
