Some Christians feel that giving is an awkward topic in the church. But at FBCDC we see giving as an adventure in trust—we trust God to provide for our needs when we give joyously instead of clenching our resources, and we trust God to take what we give and make it count for the gospel’s sake.

That trust is especially important for FBCDC as 2022 marked the 220th anniversary of our congregation. With the anniversary celebration, we launched a capital campaign to raise $1 million to expand the size and accessibility of our community spaces and, consequently, increase our capacity for service. This ambitious campaign will support First Baptist’s physical presence and commitment to our community for the next 220 years.
