La Iglesia Buenas Nuevas de Salvacion

La Iglesia Buenas Nuevas de Salvacion, The Church of the Good News of Salvation, a Spanish-speaking congregation, meets for worship each Sunday at 2 p.m. in the ground-floor Dawson Room, with Rev. Saul Garcia preaching. Enter from O Street between 16th and 17th streets under the portico, and take the first right to reach the Dawson Room. 

Walk to End HIV

Join us for the Walk to End HIV. Each October we form a group to support Whitman Walker Health.

The Johenning Baptist Center

The Johenning Baptist Center is a hub of friendship and community in the Anacostia neighborhood. We host fun community events —summer cookouts with games and crafts and cold-weather chili lunches.

Martha's Table

Join volunteers making sandwiches for Martha’s Table the third Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. downstairs in Fellowship Hall (dinner at 6pm - $8 per person).

Through volunteering and fundraising, we support The National Center for Children and Families’ mission to serve local families.
