A Service of Prayer and Reflection Honoring President Carter
On Sunday, January 5, 2025, First Baptist Church hosted a service of prayer and reflection following the death of President Carter. The service honored President Carter and his life, reflected Carter’s spirituality rooted in the Baptist and Christian tradition, was thoughtfully inclusive, and embraced Carter’s wide-reaching vision of faith and humanity.
