Beginning this Sunday (3/3), we are pleased to make available for purchase a new music CD, Unique and Sacred. Dr. Lon Schreiber has been writing sacred music for more than 60 years and soprano Debbi Miller has long cherished the dream of recording his soprano solo pieces to preserve that portion of his beautiful body of work for posterity. Together they realized this dream last August, recording here in the sanctuary of FBC, and creating a CD of eight inspirational songs. Lon's specialty is to use very familiar texts and/or melodies, and re-imagine them in his own unique style. Cost: $10. All proceeds will benefit the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) which creates healthy living environments for vulnerable children, youth and families.
