Organ Pipes for Halloween
Friday, October 31, 2014
October 31st falls on Friday this year, and First Baptist at 16th and “O”
is offering a rare musical treat for you!  We have eight or ten (maybe more)
talented and friendly “Goblins” who can’t wait to perform some exciting,
brilliant, unusual, clever, SCARY music which will provide an evening not to
be forgotten!  There will be some surprises, of course, and you are encouraged
to arrive in costume, just as the performers will be costumed.  We begin promptly
at 7:00 p.m., and will end around 8:00 p.m.  The city will be alive with parties, and
we’ll provide a small, sweet treat as you leave.
Some of the performers (friends of the Resident Organist of FBC) prefer that their
real names not be used, but there will be distinguished artists amount us who know
how to play a spectacular five-manual console controlling more than 6,000 pipes!
Come early for the best seats—there is no admission cost.
Bring friends for this “best show in town” to experience a really fun-filled event!
